Ezekiel 23

  • Aholah and Aholibah (v. 1-4)
  • Sins of Israel to the north (v. 5-10)
  • Sins of Judah to the south (v. 11-35)
  • Both nations are condemned (v. 36-44).
  • The punishment for adultery, be it physical or spiritual? Death by fire. (v. 45-49)

  • A laundry list of corruption and immorality (v. 1-16)
  • Proving one’s metal (v. 17-22)
  • Prophets, priest, princes and people—all corrupt (v. 23-31)

God looked for an Abraham who would intercede for the people, but He found none (Ezekiel 22:30).
