Good and bad seem to be out of balance. Why is that?
Chapter 1
- v 2,3. How long? Why?
- 5. God promises to do something unbelievable.
- 6-11. God will change the mind of the invading army.
- 12-13. Recognizing God’s holiness, the prophet asks why?
- 16. Imagine someone worshiping his fishing net.
Chapter 2
- v 1. The prophet determines to wait for God to answer.
- v 2-4. God instructs him (and us) that he must wait in faith.
- v 5-20. The enemy will be destroyed for it cruelty and idolatry.
