The Jerusalem Council

In Acts 15 the church of Jerusalem discusses whether circumcision and other Mosaic practices are required of converts to Christianity. It is determined that they are not, and that to teach otherwise is contrary to the gospel of Christ. The church clearly separates itself from those who added good works to the message of salvation. And we should do so likewise.
