<p>The church of Jerusalem sent out the gospel. The Word found fertile ground in the Gentiles of Asia. When famine came upon Judea, the young Christians of Antioch quickly raised funds to help their brethren.</p>

<p>Peter had learned firsthand that God did not consider all non-Jews to be common or unclean. After his experience at the house of Cornelius, Peter returned to Jerusalem to report to the church all that had transpired.</p>
